How the lead distribution calculator works

Round robin gives every buyer an equal turn. Weighted distribution gives each buyer a share of volume in proportion to its weight, so a buyer with weight 2 receives twice the leads of a buyer with weight 1. Highest price first fills the best-paying buyer up to its cap before the next buyer receives any leads.

Every method respects caps. When a buyer reaches its cap, the leads it would have received move to the buyers that still have room. Leads left after every cap is full count as overflow.

The comparison runs all three methods on the same buyers so you can see the revenue difference between them. Real distribution also checks each buyer’s filters, locations, and schedules, which the calculator leaves out to keep the comparison simple.

Frequently asked questions

Lead distribution is the process of deciding which buyer or sales rep receives each incoming lead. Rules can split leads evenly, by weight, by price, or by criteria such as location and lead type, and a good system records why each lead went where it did.

Highest price first earns the most per lead when buyers pay different prices, because every lead goes to the best price available. The tradeoff is that lower-paying buyers may receive few leads and stop buying. Many sellers combine methods, offering leads by price or bid first and splitting the rest by weight.

Round robin rotates through buyers so each receives the same number of leads. Weighted distribution sets a share for each buyer, so you can send more volume to a buyer that pays more, converts better, or has a larger budget.

They overflow. In many setups those leads are discarded or sit in a queue until the next period. In Juiced they can move on to a private marketplace or a subscription club so they still earn revenue.

Juiced runs each lead through distribution stages you put in order, such as ping post partners, buyer bidding, a private marketplace, and a subscription club. Each stage checks buyer criteria, budgets, and caps, and every decision is logged on the lead.
